Dr. Swati Vinchurkar has done her MD in Pediatrics from Baroda Medical College. She has done training in Neonatal intensive care from John Spence Nursery, RPAH, Sydney, Australia. After working in the area of Neonatal Intensive Care for more than a decade, she founded the Urja Child Development Centre as a one stop solution for all children with special needs. She completed her PG Diploma in Developmental Neurology in 2015. She is associated with various academic and social organisations and movements like SPACT, Adolescent Health Academy, Parenting for Peace and Pregnancy 101. She has co-authored IAP consensus guidelines on Early Childhood Development, and Feeding Fundamentals. She has managed to initiate the concept of an Autism Carnival for the past two years in Surat.
